The Starring Buffalo Community Chorus returns for RENT!

This group of volunteer singers comes together to perform alongside Broadway and Buffalo’s best actors. This time on the Shea’s Buffalo MAINSTAGE!

Rehearsals:

Mon. 4/6 6-8PM
Mon. 4/13 6-8PM
Sun. 4/19 6-8PM
Mon. 4/27 6-8PM
Mon. 5/4 6-8PM (if needed - please hold as backup date)

(Note - if necessary, participants can miss ONE of the above rehearsals)

Dress Rehearsals:

Thu. 5/7 Tech rehearsal 7-10PM @ Shea’s Buffalo
Fri. 5/8 Invited Dress Rehearsal 7PM
(Attendance is mandatory for both.)

Performance:

One show only at Shea’s Buffalo!

Sat. 5/9 Performance 2PM

Ages:

9th grade through 99 (and beyond!) - the more generations the better!

Auditions:

Auditions for the choir will be done virtually by video submission.

Audition requirements:

• Record yourself singing your voice part of an excerpt of “Seasons of Love.” We recommend using your cellphone!

• Upload the audition file to your preferred video platform (YouTube, Instagram, Google Drive, etc.), and submit the link where requested on the audition form.

• Music and accompaniment tracks linked below.

• Submission deadline Monday, 2/23/2026, by 11:59PM

Notifications to choir members will be made by Monday, 3/16/2025
